week of 10/1/2012 in review

george stayed with us, and matt was busy with his conference / sick this week.  

• food.  WED. mac&cheese, arugula&strawberry salad, zucchini.  FRI. ratatouille&quinoa.  SAT. roasted tomato sauce&polenta.
• jobs.  interview w/ mayor's office & sasb.  networking with energy people.
• house.  sewed cloth napkins to match the table runner.  planted the plants in the beds!  they're mostly california natives. so excited to watch them grow over the years.  put kale seedlings into their grown up container.  everything is still alive :)
• hung out.  schnapsen w/ matt.  dinner out -- front porch & chez maman -- w/ george.  lasagna @pete&jane's.  watched military planes flying overhead -- fleet week air show.

the weather has been amazing, sf's indian summers.
