it's strange to think that i've been wanting to go to school for so long (nearly a year), and now i'm here. some thoughts:
- i was hoping to take a quant-focused course of study, but the math has been a lot more challenging than i expected. i moved "down" a level.
- the water in jersey smells wierd. brita works wonders.
- i'm glad i don't live in a dorm but living away from campus makes me feel isolated.
- i can't believe it's common to not have air conditioning in the north east.
- biking to class is fun :)
after math camp, i'll have three more days of orientation, and then classes start on september 16!

Hmm - common *not* to have A/C in the northeast? Not from my experience. Is that what your landlord told you?
Ian says make sure you check out Hoagie Haven!
