mostly, i hovered around the kitchen this weekend. friday night low key dinner at mangosteen, drinks at bourbon & branch, and two episodes of the wire. saturday unsuccessful studying and some successful as well as unsuccessful baking. sunday, a nice dinner! roasted leg of lamb, chickpeas, chard, hummus, couscous, cucumber salad, pita and some accompaniments.
it was kind of crazy to get a whole leg of lamb from the butcher. i suppose we see whole chickens and turkeys all the time.
