1.  asian boy quadrant.  the racial and gender composition of my close friends breaks down very roughly:

 

girls (35%):  white: 10%, asian: 80%

boys (65%):  white:  50%, asian: 50%

 

i think a lot about the asian-girl and white-boy quadrants.  it occurred to me today, though, that of the asian-boy category 80% are fob east asian boys, not born-in-the-united-states asian boys.  (80% of 50% asian boys of 65% boys =~ 25% of friends)  i wonder why that is.

 

2.  no more cornerstone events.  i feel like my time to have fun with coworkers is over, and that's a-ok with me.

 

3.  the week ends.  with kayaking, dolores park, esperpento, koi palace, work and woman inc.  and like the weekend, it's just up more hills.  oh well, hills are okay too sometimes.
