post-turkey happenings

it's been 3 weeks since matt & i have come back from turkey.  since then:

- celebrated. eddie's 30th bday & booklet launch at 111 minna.

- hung out. good food, back scifi night with the gang.  brunch at hongmai's.  house party at jill & gunn's. mall lunch with julia z. dinner with viv while she was in town!  cornerstone get-together. dinner with jimmy

- moved around. mcnee ranch hike & crystal springs bike ride. trying out a strength training routine involving lots and lots of push-ups among other things. i'll report back in 10 weeks.

- garden drama. the garden continues to grow like crazy -- fall is not going to stop it! the tomato plant joined up with our back neighbor's vines, which creeped over another neighbor's tree and pushed both the tree and vine down into our yard. matt hacked down the vines, i trimmed the tomatoes and been politely suggesting to our neighbors that they do something about their tree. good news though -- our cherry tree produced one cherry :) 

matt's been crazy busy at work.  i'm also taking on a few new projects, which is exciting and scary.
