i love bernal heights

i really love my neighborhood.  

• quiet and cozy.  it's set slightly apart from the rest of san francisco because of its hilltop location and is only indirectly linked to BART.  
• sunshine.  it's in sf's sunbelt. the sun shines even when there is fog everywhere else.
• views.  it has some of the best views of downtown and the east bay.
• cortland village and surrounding commercial areas. lots of good stuff without much pretension. 
• playgrounds, parks, community gardens, mini-gardens and greenery. so many.
• interesting neighbors but not so "interesting" that it's dangerous.
