philadelphia

to kill time between finals and a mock qualifying exam, keqin, ashok (classmates) and i went on an excursion to philadelphia.  we were underwhelmed.  we:

• checked out independence hall, where the declaration of independence and constitution were written.  we also saw the liberty bell.
• went to the "constitution museum," where we saw a very patriotic presentation.  keqin compared it to communist party propaganda, except "in china, you don't have to pay"
• browsed reading terminal market, where we ate lunch and basset's ice cream (like president obama)
  
• walked around upenn.  we were denied entry to wharton business school, which we went into for warmth.
  

i'm glad we did that yesterday because today is very wet and very cold.
