happenings

• last week, matt and i went to bethany beach, deleware for an ahrens family vacation.  met aunts, uncles, and cousins.  it was nice to swim in the ocean, lounge around the beach, ride bikes around, and laze about the house. 
• almost, sort of completed a pair of oven mitts.  no pattern, just some advice from mom!
• read graphic novels logicomix and market day.  both good.  also half way through with anna karenina.
  
• seeing people before i leave.  korean street cart with kat, little star with drew and harry, pakwan with john and brendan, ikes & birite with sydney. 
  
• new.  matt and i have tried a few new-to-us places:  pastores and los altos tacos (bernal, decent mexican hole in the wall) american grilled cheese kitchen (soma, good but overpriced), and old clam house (bayview, just okay).
