life updates

here are some updates:
  • i'll be in princeton, new jersey for school next fall.  i still have mixed feelings about it.
  • matt bought a house in bernal heights.  i also have mixed feelings about this.  at the least, it's been interesting to think of san francisco in terms of real estate and gentrification (beyond mission hipsters and noe valley).
  • my last day at cornerstone is may 14.

My favorite quote from the 2005 gentrification article:

"When people realize they can't afford Noe Valley, they go to Bernal Heights. When they realize they can't afford Bernal Heights, they go to Glen Park. When they realize they can't afford Glen Park, they're going to come to Sunnyside."

Although I think nowadays Glen Park is more expensive than Bernal Heights.

Way to Keep it Simple...oh wait life is complex...way to keep it less complex! You both will do great. Big life changes and both very positive changes at that. Don't focus on fear or negative....these are great exciting opportunities that many cannot obtain...embrace and be proud! Congrats.

Yay! Welcome to the East Coast! Come up to the city! Or, if we somehow end up in Ian's childhood stomping grounds, we'll stop by.
