friday, i'm in love

• high five.  matt's high five blog.  an article in wired about the art of high-fiving.
• soft spots.  i have a very soft spot in my heart for menlo park, where everyone knows your name.  also, eagle scouts, little star pizza, berkeley, endearingly nerdy boys, boys that play instruments, kittens, libraries, and blankets.
• sweetness.  matt is really thoughtful.  he brings back wildflowers from his camping trip, fills an ipod with music that i like, buys back a beautiful dress that i returned, cleans my car when i'm away, and a lot lot more.
• life.  nice conversations with roommate michael, officemate matt, and coworker lisa about what they think is important in life, milestones, and compromise.
• pretty.  mates of state and stars.  thanks, buni.
• not-for-profit.  the job search is on.  fine, it's been on for a long time. 
• me.  trying to spend more time on me.  i think i need a lot more by-myself-time than most people.  or socializing is exhausting.
